Wanted Collinsville man arrested after gun, drugs found in home

COLLINSVILLE – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office arrested two wanted men Monday.


Deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment on Mason Court in Collinsville and arrested 43-year-old Gary Randolph Kendrick Jr. of Collinsville.


Kendrick was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Henry County for a probation violation.

 

33-year-old Christopher Michael Fackler of Spencer was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Martinsville for obtaining money by false pretenses and third-offense larceny.


According to the sheriff's office, a search of the home yielded a 9mm handgun and ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a small amount of meth. 


The evidence obtained led to Kendrick being charged with the following four felony charges:

  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

  • Possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

  • Possession of a controlled substance.

  • Possessing a controlled substance while simultaneously possessing a firearm.


He is being held in the Henry County Jail with no bond.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
