Martinsville, VA – On Tuesday morning, the Martinsville community gathered to witness the swearing-in ceremony of Chad Rhoads as the new Chief of Police for the City of Martinsville.
A long-time dedicated public servant, Rhoads has a wealth of experience in law enforcement, having previously served as the Deputy Chief of Police.
His career has been marked by a strong commitment to leadership, public safety, and the well-being of the citizens he has served.
The ceremonial event was made even more special as Sheriff Steve Draper officiated the swearing-in, with Rhoads' wife proudly pinning his new badge, symbolizing both a professional and personal milestone in his life.
Chad Rhoads has left a lasting impact on the Martinsville Police Department through his years of service and unwavering dedication.
His leadership and vision have been integral in shaping the department’s operations, and his promotion to Chief of Police is a well-deserved recognition of his years of hard work and commitment.
