Single vehicle accident injures one on 220 bypass

BASSETT – A single vehicle traveling north on the 220 bypass just before the Bassett/57 exit lost control just after 12:00 noon Tuesday. Fieldale Fire and Public safety responded to the scene. Heavy rain was reported in the area at the time of the crash. The driver was transported with injuries to the head. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
