WENTWORTH, NC – Last year, Blessing the Homeless of Rockingham County collected 1,803 gently used coats and outerwear donated by the citizens of Rockingham County. Those coats, along with hats and scarves knitted by the "Sassy Stitchers" from Lot 2540 filled in the gap for many people who didn't have coats to stay warm during the winter.

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, located at 170 N.C. 65 in Reidsville, North Carolina, will serve as a donation drop off point for the "Keep Rockingham County Warm Project." Donations of gently used coats and outerwear will be accepted 24/7 at the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office from until Monday, November 19.
