Saad joins Ravenel Cancer Center at Sovah Health in Martinsville



MARTINSVILLE – Sovah Health announced that oncologist Mohammed Saad, MD has joined the Ravenel Cancer Center at Sovah Health’s Martinsville campus.


Dr. Saad comes to Sovah Health from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, where he recently finished a dual fellowship in medical oncology and geriatric medicine.                                                                                       

"We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Saad to our medical staff at Sovah Health,” said Tory Shepherd, Chief Operating Officer of Sovah Health - Martinsville. “His expertise in oncology and geriatric medicine will help expand our team’s ability to deliver high quality cancer care to our community.”

Dr. Saad attended medical school at American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon and completed his residency at MedStar Good Samaritan/Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.


He completed fellowships in medical oncology and geriatric medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.


He is a member of the International Society of Geriatric Oncology, American Geriatrics Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Saad is accepting new patients and referrals at the Ravenel Cancer Center located at 320 Hospital Drive in Martinsville.
