FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit conducted a drug related search warrant Tuesday. The search warrant was conducted in the 2000 block of Timber Ridge Road in the Glade Hill community.
Authorities say Lacy Harold Smith Jr., 45, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
Deputies say Smith of Rocky Mount provided false information about his identification.
Smith was arrested and is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail without bond.
The case is currently under investigation and the Sheriff's Office says additional charges may be pending.
