REIDSVILLE, NC – Wednesday morning at around 1:23 AM, Rockingham County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a suspicious person call in the area of I.H. Food Mart located at 2216 U.S. 29 Bus. in Reidsville, North Carolina. Reidsville Police Officer Josh Moore was on routine patrol inside the city of Reidsville and was close to the location when the call came out and also responded to I.H. Food Mart at the request of the Sheriff's Office Patrol supervisor on duty. Upon the arrival of Reidsville Police Officer Moore and Sheriff's Lt. Jason Hutchins to I.H. Food Mart, they discovered Nicholas William Rogers, 32, of 257 Pond Trail, Reidsville, North Carolina, inside the business. Rogers was taken into custody without incident. Rockingham County Sheriff's Investigators Marcus Marshall and Michael Wright subsequently charged Nicholas William Rogers with felonious Breaking and Entering, Larceny After Breaking and Entering, Possession of Stolen Goods, Possession of Burglary Tools and Injury to Real Property. He was placed in the Rockingham County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 1. The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office would like to extend thanks to the Reidsville Police Department for their assistance in Rogers' apprehension.
