The following people have outstanding warrants and are wanted by the Patrick County Sheriff''s Office. This list is a compilation of individuals who have outstanding warrants in Patrick County. Many of the people have misdemeanor warrants and are located in other states. Most states won't extradite on misdemeanor warrants, however, we keep them on our "WANTED" list in case they should be picked up in Virginia, Many are already incarcerated in other jurisdictions, but are still placed on the list and will be served as their release approaches. And some, we don't know their location and ask for your help.
An outstanding warrant does not mean guilt nor innocence. All people are presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court-of-law by a Judge or jury. Warrants are public record and their disclosure conforms to all aspects of the Privacy Act.
