Martinsville City Public Schools fully accredited except one

MARTINSVILLE – Thursday, the Virginia Department of Education released accreditation reports. All of Martinsville City Public Schools expect Patrick Henry Elementary School was fully accredited. Under the new standards put in place last year, Patrick Henry was accredited with conditions due lower scores in English. This is the first time in nearly a decade that all Martinsville schools are fully accredited by the Virginia Department of Education.
