MARTINSVILLE – Tuesday, Martinsville City Council approved a zoning ordinance which allows a hookah bar to open in Uptown Martinsville.

Alan Dominguez and Ian Turner are looking to open a hookah bar at 54 West Church Street, the former Butchers and Brews location.

The zoning ordinance did not prohibit one from opening, but the city needed to make clear where one can and can’t open.
