SPENCER – Virginia State Police is searching for a man who walked away from a vehicle crash in Spencer.
Joseph W. Barrette was last seen on July 12 in Tyro, North Carolina.
He drives a 2012 dark blue Buick Enclave, which was found abandoned on Highway 58 pointing east near Old Country Store.
Barrette is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 205 pounds with brown eyes and dark brown hair.
Police say his phone was last pinged in Montgomery, NC around Uwharrie National Forest.
Anyone with information regarding Barrette's whereabouts is asked to call state police at 804-674-2000.
