
HENRY COUNTY – Deputy Director Tierra Dillard said the Henry County 911 Dispatch Center received triple the amount of calls during Fridays storm than normal. In a four hour period the 911 center received 519 calls. Matt Tatum, Director of Public Safety says the Henry County has an estimated $7 million in damages and growing. Owners of properties that have been damaged are asked to call or email (276)-634-4660 or stormdamage@henrycountyva.gov. Lisa Hughes from VDOT says their crews are working around the clock to repair damages. Eight roads in Henry County remain closed.
