MARTINSVILLE – The Grace Network of Martinsville-Henry County needs your help.
Their annual pumpkin patch fundraiser is near its end and they still have many pumpkins to sell.
"We're really excited about the fact that not only are you buying a pumpkin, but you are helping Grace Network and Grace Network helps our community right here in Martinsville and Henry County," Grace Network Executive Director Tracy Hinchcliff said.
The pumpkin patch is open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM.
It will run through October 31 until 3 PM on that day.
"For the holidays and moving in that direction, there's a lot of folks that are still suffering in our community. They don't look forward to the holidays because they know that's going to be difficult to feed their children or give toys to their children during Christmas or do anything," Hinchcliff stated.
Hinchcliff says supporting the pumpkin patch helps solve this and other obstacles that these individuals face.
"Grace Network helps with financial assistance for evictions, utility cut offs and then we have a food pantry as well. Those three things are the three life essential needs that any family needs and these pumpkins help to promote that," Hinchcliff added.
