Freezing temperatures, frost expected Monday morning in MHC


HENRY COUNTY – The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a freezing warning for Southwest Virginia and Northwest North Carolina. The freeze warning remains in effect from midnight to 10 AM Monday. The National Weather Service states that a freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. High pressure moving overhead tonight will allow for temperatures to plummet to at or below freezing. Freezing temperatures and frost are expected tonight. What you should know:
