HAMPDEN SYDNEY – Kaleb Smith has been named Rookie of the Year after an impressive freshman season at Hampden-Sydney College. The former Franklin County quarterback also made the All-ODAC 3rd Team. Smith ended the season with over 600 rushing yards, averaging 4 yards a carry. He also totaled over 650 yards as a receiver in his first year. This made him a 1000 yard running back/receiver for the season. Smith will look to continue his success in the future as a Tiger.
