EMS, Paramedic students celebrate completion

MARTINSVILLE – Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) is proud to announce that the following students have completed the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Paramedic Program The program, which can culminate in either an Associate of Applied Science-Paramedic degree or a Paramedic Career Studies Certificate, prepares students to manage complex emergency medical situations and to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic (NRP) Certification examination.          

The following earned their Paramedic Career Studies Certificate:

The following earned their Associate of Applied Science-Paramedic:

The following students have completed the First Year of the EMS Paramedic Program & have completed the Intermediate Career Studies Certificate. This certificate prepares students to take the Virginia State Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate Certification examination.

Applications for the EMS Paramedic program at PHCC can be found in Philpott Hall room 131 on the PHCC campus and on the college website. The PHCC EMS Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (www.coaemsp.org).
