MARTINSVILLE – A Martinsville Fire and EMS retiree was awarded this weekend at the Southwest Virginia Firefighters Association Convention in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Page Brockenbrough presented Leon Reed with the Above and Beyond Award.
Both Reed and Brockenbrough were past Presidents of the firefighters association.
Leon is one of our retirees from our department and continues to be active in our volunteer division since leaving his career position. A well deserved award for a great guy!
