Chamber Music Recital returns to Patrick Henry Community College

MARTINSVILLE – The Chamber Music Ensemble is returning to Patrick Henry Community College’s Walker Fine Arts Theatre for its fall the concert on Sunday, October 28. The theme of this month’s concert is “M&M.” Every piece the ensemble will perform will either begin with the letter ‘M’ or be composed by someone whose name begins with the letter ‘M.’ From this collection of M’s, the ensemble will perform a mixture melodies of the fun and familiar with the unexplored and unique. “We are bringing together timeless classics that everyone loves and a few pieces that might even be new to music aficionados – and we’re trying everything together with the letter ‘M.’ It is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon celebrating music from all composition periods,” says the ensemble’s director Deborah Burgess. On Sunday, October 28, hear the ensemble – a company of professional, collegiate, and community musicians – at 3 PM in Patrick Henry Community College’s Walker Fine Arts Theatre.
