Bassett seniors walk through middle school to inspire students

COLLINSVILLE – Monday morning, the seniors were able to, once again, see where they started their education.

They were an example to current students that with hard work they also can graduate one day.

The following was read over the school's intercom:

"Today, we are going to time travel. As we welcome Bassett High School and Magna Vista High Schools' seniors, many of them will be traveling back in time to when they were here at GW Carver when they were your age. They had some of the same teachers. They played in the same gym and the same playground. They sat in the same classroom. As they approach graduation day, today is a reminder for them of where they begun."
