12 more people test positive for COVID-19 in West Piedmont Health District

The daily COVID-19 cases report showed that twelve more people have tested positive for the virus in West Piedmont Health District.


Nancy Bell, the district's Population Health Manager, reported that six Henry County men ranging in the ages of teens, 30s, 40s and 60s contracted the coronavirus.


In Franklin County, a woman in her 50s tested positive.


Martinsville had five confirmed cases of the virus, four females and one male in their teens and 40s.


The total for Henry County now stands at 59, 25 in Martinsville and there are 31 in Franklin County.


Patrick County remains at 11 cases.


No additional information regarding these cases is available due to federal privacy laws.
