Ruffin, NC woman arrested on child abuse charges

RUFFIN, NC – Tuesday at around 3:20 PM, Rockingham County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Teri Nicole Zedd, 35, of 2255 Estes Road in Ruffin, North Carolina on two counts of Misdemeanor Child Abuse. The charges, obtained by Detective Kelly Hacker, are in connection to a report of an assault on a child under 12 years of age made to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office. Identifying information about the juvenile victim will not be released by the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office.

Teri Zedd was placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $5,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on December 20.
