FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va.(BTW21) — Authorities have arrested two men in connection with the death of 24-year-old Emily Grace Keene, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.
Corion Devontae Manns, 22, of Henry, and Isaiah Kahlil Witcher, 25, of Bassett, were both taken into custody on May 7, 2025. Each has been charged with:
One felony count of Second-Degree Murder
One felony count of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
Both suspects are being held without bond as they await court proceedings.
The charges stem from an ongoing investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, which continues to develop leads and gather evidence related to Keene’s death.
Officials have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the homicide, citing the active nature of the investigation.
