One taken to hospital in Henry County crash

HENRY COUNTY, VA – A person was injured in a crash in the Villa Heights community of Henry County.

At 12:05 a.m. Monday, emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Stultz Road near VC Drive.

A Honda Accord ran off the road, struck a utility pole and crashed into a tree.

The male driver was transported to Sovah Health-Martinsville by Henry County Public Safety with minor injuries, according to Virginia State Police.

State police are conducting an investigation.

The Henry County sheriff’s department also responded.
