High winds and wintry weather are causing widespread outages in the area

As we are witnessing our first taste of winter weather this year along with breezy conditions, area residents are waking up without electricity this Monday morning.
 
 Appalachian Power is reporting a high number of outages as of 9:20 a.m. and they are as follows:
