STANLEYTOWN – Two babies were medically evaluated by the Bassett Rescue Squad after being involved in a hit-and-run. The crash occurred Wednesday around 5:40 PM in front of BB&T on Fairystone Park Highway in Stanleytown. No other injuries were reported. Bassett Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist. Virginia State Police is investigating.
