MARTINSVILLE – With storms forecasted in our coverage area, we all felt an impact Thursday afternoon. The hardest hit location in our coverage area was Franklin County, with over 750 outages this afternoon.
As of 4:40 PM, there are at least 900 customers in coverage area without electricity. According from Appalachian Power's website, outages are supposed to be restored by this evening and into the overnight hours Friday.
