Rockingham County Deputy nets $24,000 worth of marijuana during traffic stop

REIDSVILLE, NC – On Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at around 4 p.m., Rockingham County Sheriff's Deputy Landon Pulliam was on routine patrol when he initiated a vehicle stop for traffic violations near the Irvin Farm Rd./Sandy Cross Road. intersection in Reidsville, N.C.. As a result of that stop, Deputy Pulliam located and seized 11 pounds of marijuana, having a street value of approximately $24,000.
The two occupants of the vehicle,
ERASMO CAMPOS-PENA, 39 of 1410 Cleveland Ave. Burlington, N.C. and FRANSCISO DIAZ LOPEZ, 21, of 338 Jackson St. Reidsville, N.C., were arrested and both were charged with Trafficking in Marijuana. They were both placed in the Rockingham County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20th.
