COLLINSVILLE – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a robbery that occurred at Valley Star Credit Union located at 41 Wheeler Avenue Collinsville, VA.
Through the course of the investigation it was discovered that prior to committing the robbery at Valley Star Credit Union the suspect entered the Fidelity Bank located on Virginia Ave., Collinsville, VA. Employees of Fidelity bank noticed the suspect behaving in a suspicious manner. While inside the Fidelity Bank he was captured on video surveillance.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the individual involved in this robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s to 40s, dark hair, approximately 6’02”-6’04” and weighing approximately 225-250 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue hat with a star on it, sunglasses and a gray t-shirt. The suspect was driving what is believed to be a Nissan Murano.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500.00 for information related to crimes. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information provided determine the amount of reward paid.
