MARTINSVILLE – Road work on Starling Avenue began Tuesday and is expected to be completed Thursday evening. The road work will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 PM to 7 AM. Starling Avenue will be closed from the intersection of East Church Street to the intersection of Arron Street. Detours have been set up by crews. It is recommend that if this is your daily route, use the detours or find an alternative route to get to work or home.
