PITTSYVANIA COUNTY – Virginia State Police Trooper J.A. Compton is investigating a motor vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Saturday (May 26) at 2:54 a.m.on Route 729, nine tenths of a mile south of Route 1054 Pittsyvania County.
A 2008 Chevrolet HHR was traveling south on Route 729, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned several times.
The driver was identified as Janeill Dornea Bradley, 22, of Ringgold, Va. Ms Bradley was not wearing her seatbelt and was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
The crash remains under investigation.
