Another COVID-19 hospitalization, six cases in two days reported in Henry County



HENRY COUNTY, VA – The number of COVID-19 positive tests in Henry County is on the rise.


One death, two hospitalizations, and six cases were announced by the Virginia Department of Health in just two days.


That pushes the total number of cases in the county to 28.


Nancy Bell of the West Piedmont Health District said three women and three men tested positive.


One of those women, which Bell did not specify her age, and a man in his 70s are hospitalization with the virus.


Bell said the three females are in their 30s, 40s and 50s.


The two other males are in their 40s and 50s.


With exception of those hospitalized, the others are isolated at home.


All of them had known exposure to the coronavirus and their close contacts have been identified.
