One person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Friday.
It took place shortly before 7 p.m. on Appalachian Drive at the Daniels Creek Road intersection in the Fieldale community of Henry County.
The crash involved a Toyota Corolla and a Dodge Charger.
According to Virginia State Police, the Toyota, which was going south on Appalachian Drive, attempted to make an illegal left turn onto Daniels Creek Road.
State Police said that’s when the Dodge, also headed south on Appalachian Drive, swerved to miss the Toyota, but the two vehicles collided.
The Fieldale Volunteer Fire Department said the passenger of the Toyota was transported to the hospital with minor injuries by Henry County Public Safety.
Police continue to investigate incident.
