MARTINSVILLE, VA – As our Weatherman Dustin Staples forecasted impacts from Tropical Storm Zeta, one of the main concerns was high winds, which has caused area wide power outages in our coverage area.
As the 12:30 p.m. update from Appalachian Powers website, the localities were in the dark:
• Franklin: 99
• Henry: 5,254
• Patrick: 27
According to Appalachian Powers websites, all outages are expected to be back on around 5:00 p.m.
