Virginia State Police Investigating Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash in Botetourt County

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va.
The Virginia State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 220 in Botetourt County at 6:49 p.m. yesterday.
A 2021 Nissan veered off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.
The 72-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional details will be provided once next-of-kin notifications are made.
