Virginia State Police Investigating Fatal Bedford County Crash

Virginia State Police are looking into a single-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality on Friday, October 18, at around 10:05 p.m.
The incident took place on Jordantown Road, approximately three-quarters of a mile north of Wilford Hollow Road.
A 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and struck several trees.
The driver, 34-year-old Robert Taulbee Meador of Fincastle, VA, was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
