This week's surge brings the state's average gasoline price to 19.3 cents per gallon higher than it was a month ago, although it remains 38.2 cents per gallon lower than the same time last year.
The national average price of diesel has also seen an increase, rising 3.6 cents in the last week to $3.594 per gallon.
