FRANKLIN COUNTY – Two separate truck rollovers caused delays on U.S. 220 North in Franklin County Tuesday.

The first accident involving a tractor-trailer occurred at intersection of Route 220 and Naff Road around 11:15 AM.

The tractor-trailer rolled over into the median.

While still on scene, volunteers had to contend with a second accident where a pickup truck rolled on its side.

The accident occurred around 12:50 PM north of the first rollover near Trinity Reformed Baptist Church.

The driver refused medical treatment, according to Boones Mill Volunteer Fire/EMS.

This accident compounded the traffic backup that was already occurring.

Volunteers were on scene for over three hours.
