HENRY COUNTY, VA – A crash involving two small cars and a truck left two people injured Thursday morning.
The wreck happened around 11:30 a.m. on Morehead Avenue at Old Leaksville Road in Henry County.
According to Virginia State Police, a box truck and a Toyota Camry were stopped on Morehead Avenue waiting to turn onto Old Leaksville Road when they were rear-ended by a Ford Focus.
The driver of the Ford, 18-year-old Emily Coulson, was charged in the incident.
One person was transported to a hospital in Rockingham County, North Carolina by the Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad.
The rescue squad members and Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
The crash remains under investigation.
