Two high school students involved in Friday crash

PATRICK COUNTY, VA – No one was hurt in a three-vehicle crash in Patrick County on Friday.


According to firefighters, a logging truck was trying to make a right turn into Wilderness Stuart, located at 14747 Jeb Stuart Highway, when a Ford pickup rear-ended it.


Then a Volvo sedan with two Patrick County High School students inside struck the pickup truck, firefighters said.


The Stuart Fire Department, Patrick County EMS, and the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office responded.


The Virginia State Police was also on scene and are investigating the crash.
