Two Arrested Following Narcotics Search Warrant in Axton

AXTON, Va. (August 13, 2025) BTW21 – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant on Wednesday that resulted in the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash, as well as two arrests.
According to officials, the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Patrol Division, and VICE Division carried out the warrant at a residence located at 7064 Axton Road.
Deputies reported that two individuals were inside the home during the operation, while several others were located outside.
During the search, investigators recovered a large amount of suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine, two illegally possessed firearms, a significant amount of U.S. currency, and items commonly associated with narcotics distribution.
As a result, two residents were taken into custody:
Marvin Jarvis Dalton, 43, of 7064 Axton Road, Axton
Distribution of 5 lbs. or more of marijuana – Felony
Possession of cocaine – Felony
Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance – Felony
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon – Felony
Possession of ammunition by a convicted felon – FelonyDalton was transported to the Henry County Adult Detention Center where he was held on a $10,000 secured bond. He has since been released.
Rico Ny’Terious Dalton, 24, of 7064 Axton Road, Axton
Distribution of 5 lbs. or more of marijuana – Felony
Possession of cocaine – Felony
Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance – FelonyRico Dalton was transported to the Henry County Adult Detention Center and held on a $5,000 secured bond. He has also been released.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office has not released further information at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
