Two Arrested Following 911 Hang-Up Call at Eden Residence

May 21, 2025 – Eden, NC (BTW21) A 911 hang-up call led to the arrest of two individuals on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in Eden on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Officers from the Eden Police Department responded to the call at 617 Park Avenue, where they found two parties involved in a verbal altercation.
While they successfully de-escalated the situation, officers later developed probable cause, which led to a search warrant being executed at the residence.
The investigation revealed a number of criminal offenses, and as a result, Robert Brandon Myers, age 47, and Christian Matthew King, age 27, were arrested.
Charges Against Robert Brandon Myers:
Felony Possession of a Firearm by Felon (x2)
Felony Trafficking Marijuana
Felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Marijuana
Felony Maintain a Dwelling for the Sale of Narcotics
Felony Possession of Marijuana
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Myers was taken to the Rockingham County Magistrate's Office, where a magistrate issued a $16,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on May 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell, or Deliver Marijuana
Felony Aid & Abet
Misdemeanor Child Abuse
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
King was also transported to the Rockingham County Magistrate's Office, where a $9,000 secured bond was set.
He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on May 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
Both individuals face serious charges, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter.
