HENRY COUNTY, VA – A truck crash on the 220 Bypass in Henry County caused delays early Tuesday morning.
Around 3:55 a.m., the Fieldale Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to William F. Stone Highway for the incident.
On arrival, crews found a Volvo truck that appeared to have struck the guard railing and overturned.
The driver was able to exit the vehicle safely and had minor injuries, according to firefighters.
The bypass was shut down for about one hour while crews worked the crash.
The Fieldale-Collinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad also responded.
The Virginia State Police are investigating.
