COLLINSVILLE, VA – There is a new family medicine practice in Collinsville.
The Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Total HealthCare at 2202 Daniels Creek Road on Wednesday afternoon.
“We've had a good turnout and a lot of good feedback,” owner Dr. Rhonda Clark told BTW21 News.
She says they offer many services for individuals ages five to geriatrics.
“We offer in-house visits for family medicine, preventive healthcare, acute care needs, sports physicals and women's health.”
Total HealthCare also provides services that allow you to receive care without ever leaving the comfort of your home.
“We're doing our telemedicine visits, so if you are busy and can't get into the office or you don't feel comfortable coming into the office then all you have to do is contact us. We also offer house call visits, so if they have limited mobility or difficulty getting out, our senior citizen population,” Clark said.
Dr. Clark, a nurse practitioner for over 17 years, says she believes in holistic medicine.
“I believe that you can't just treat a medical problem. You have to treat the mind, the spirit, and the body, so looking at it holistically.”
The family medicine practice is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
