Three Pedestrians Hospitalized After Crash in Daleville, Virginia

Daleville, Va. (BTW21) – March 12, 2025 – Three individuals were hospitalized with serious injuries following a pedestrian crash in Daleville on Tuesday night, according to Virginia State Police.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:01 p.m. at the intersection of Town Center Street and Town Boulevard in Botetourt County.
Officers responded to reports of the crash, where they found that the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado had struck three pedestrians while making a left turn onto Town Boulevard.
Authorities say the pedestrians were in a crosswalk when the collision occurred.
All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Their current condition has not been released.
The driver of the Silverado, 29-year-old Jordan L. Cox, was not injured in the crash. Cox has been charged with failure to yield to pedestrians.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
Local authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution and be aware of pedestrians, particularly at busy intersections.
