HENRY COUNTY, VA – Four new COVID-19 cases have pushed the total to 16 in Henry County.
Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District, said a man in his 50s is isolated at home after suspected known exposure to the coronavirus.
Bell said another man and a woman had known travel exposure to the virus.
Both are in their 20s and are isolated at home.
Another man in his 40's is also isolated at home after he had known exposure.
All of their close contacts have been identified and were quarantined, according to Bell.
Since this information is customary, BTW21 News waits for confirmation from the West Piedmont Health District.
On Friday, the Virginia Department of Health reported a case to Henry County, as an error, and then verified to Franklin County.
A case reported Sunday in Henry County was actually an Henrico County case and should be corrected on the website soon.
The mistakes were corrected later in a news release from the health department.
