Three Henry County men arrested in connection to home invasion

STONEVILLE, NC – On Sunday at around 1 a.m., the Henry County Sheriff's Office arrested three men in connection to home invasion that occurred in North Carolina.


The Rockingham County, NC Sheriff's Office said the men were charged for a home invasion that happened on February 6 at around 1:30 p.m. on Dewy Martin Road in Stoneville, NC.


The victims were not seriously harmed in the incident, according to the sheriff's office.


33-year-old Johnny Lee McBride of Lotus Point Road in Ridgeway was arrested on charges of:

  • robbery with a dangerous weapon

  • two counts of assault by pointing a gun

  • two counts of kidnapping

  • assault with a deadly weapon

  • larceny of a firearm

  • safecracking


42-year-old Michael Bruce Ernest of Ridgeway Avenue in Collinsville was arrested on charges of:

  • robbery with a dangerous weapon

  • two counts of assault by pointing a gun

  • two counts of kidnapping

  • assault with a deadly weapon

  • larceny of a firearm

  • safecracking


23-year-old Casey James Hanson of Dyer Store Road in Henry County was arrested on charges of:

  • robbery with a dangerous weapon

  • two counts of assault by pointing a gun

  • two counts of kidnapping

  • assault with a deadly weapon

  • larceny of a firearm

  • safecracking


All three are currently in the Henry County Jail.
