RIDGEWAY, VA – A woman was taken to the hospital after a t-bone crash in Ridgeway on Wednesday evening.
The collision happened at the Greensboro Road and Church Street intersection at around 5:30 p.m.
According to police radio traffic, a GMC pickup truck was t-boned by a Freightliner tractor-trailer after the GMC failed to stop.
Ridgeway Fire Department volunteers said a woman in her 70s, the occupant of the GMC, was injured in the accident.
Radio traffic indicated the woman had pain from the crash and no life-threatening injuries.
The Henry County Department of Public Safety transported the victim to Sovah Health in Martinsville.
The crash is under the investigation of Virginia State Police.
