SANDY LEVEL – On Monday, January 20, the Concerned Citizens of Sandy Level will be hosting the 10th annual "Stop the Violence Walk" in an effort to bring attention and hopefully stop the rampant violence in the community.
The walk will begin at the intersection of Axton Road and Morgan Ford Road at 9 AM.
The Stop the Violence Walk will end at St. John Baptist Church where participants will have reflections, performances and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day activities.
Participants can park at St. John Baptist Church and will be transported to the walk's starting point.
The event will conclude at noon with a light lunch.
