Six Henry County and two Martinsville residents test positive for COVID-19



Eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were identified in the West Piedmont Health District this weekend.


On Saturday, three cases were identified in Henry County; three males in their teens, 20s and 50s.


Three more cases were identified in Henry County on Sunday; a woman in her 20s and two men in their 40s and 50s.


In Martinsville, two new cases was identified; a woman in her 30s and a man in his 50s.


Henry County's number of cases increased to 166 with 12 hospitalizations and three deaths.


Martinsville now has 48 cases including six hospitalizations and one death.


Franklin County's total is at 40, with five hospitalizations and one death.

Patrick County has 28 cases with no hospitalizations or deaths.

I bet when they perform the autopsy that they find the cause of death to be gunshots.....
