OAK LEVEL, VA – A single-vehicle crash left a sedan upside down in the Oak Level community of Henry County Wednesday night.
According to the female driver, “a deer ran out in front of her at this location,” Virginia State Police Trooper M.L. Gravely told BTW21 News.
A Hyundai Elantra was traveling north in the 10000 block of Virginia Avenue when it left the roadway at approximately 10:40 p.m.
“She hit that gravel shoulder, overcorrected then came back across and hit that embankment and overturned,” Gravely stated as he pointed to the crash scene.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County Department of Public Safety, and Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department assisted on scene.
“No injuries. She had a little contusion to her head,” Trooper Gravely said.
